About Us
The Admiral Rodney dates from 1847 and is a traditional stone and slate country pub. It is set in a lovely location at the base of 1000 feet high Criggion Hill, with footpath and walks to Rodneys Pillar. We are popular with walkers and cyclists.
Refurbished in 2018 with new bar carpets, curtains, dining and seating furniture by Taylor’s Classics of Stafford, the Admiral Rodney provides a warm and inviting environment ,which is easily accessible on good roads from Shrewsbury (12miles), Welshpool ( 8 miles), and Oswestry ( 11 miles) this destination pub is well worth a visit.
